SaxonAir Charter was established in April 2007 by Mr Graeme Kalbraier, Mr Christopher Mace and Mr James Palmer, to provide VIP air charter services to a growing industry market.

Christopher Mace the Managing Director and James Palmer the Commercial Manager, joined by Lee McGahan the Operations Manager, were to develop SaxonAir and lead it forward as one of the major providers within the private aircraft charter industry. The team has a collaborative accumulation of over 20 years of experience within the private aviation industry providing aircraft for major worldwide businesses, industry executives and high profile personalities.

In May 2009 SaxonAir was sold to successful businessman Mr Roger Klyne, who added very quickly to the fleet of aircraft that the company owns and operates. Together with Chris, James and Lee, Roger is pushing the company in new exciting directions, with some major investment.

Today, SaxonAir operates under its own Civil Aviation Authority Air Operators Certificate running its own fleet of three company owned aircraft as well as two managed aircraft on behalf of clients from bases throughout the UK and into Europe and one company owned helicopter. From its main operational base at Norwich International Airport, SaxonAir also provides a ground handling service for visiting private and business aviation aircraft alongside the dedicated flight support centre.

SaxonAir’s staff includes a dedicated team of Flightcrew, Flight Operations Executives, Flight Support Officers and Quality Personnel. Clients are located throughout the UK, Europe and Asia and continue to make SaxonAir one of the fastest growing dedicated business aviation companies in the UK.

SaxonAir is expected to add more aircraft to its fleet in 2010, including a 5-6 passenger seat executive Embraer Phenom 100 entry level business jet. The aircraft will be delivered brand new from the factory in Brazil direct to the UK in May 2010. Embraer has already established itself as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of regional commuter jets, and is now turning its sights on taking a significant share of the executive jet market.
