We continue to support sustainable projects around the world with our carbon offsetting. In 2023 we offset a total 4425.19 tonnes to support projects, the projects supported are:
600 Tonnes have been offset to support Rimba Raya Indonesia in 2023.
Protecting tropical peat swamp forest in Borneo, preventing deforestation, and preserving biodiversity while reducing carbon emissions from land-use changes.
1489.19 Tonnes have been offset to support the Kemphole Mini Hydel Scheme India in 2023.
A small-scale hydroelectric project harnessing river flow to produce clean energy, reducing reliance on fossil fuels, and supporting local sustainable development.
900 Tonnes have been offset in 2023 to support the Sierra Leone Safe Water project.
Providing clean water access through borehole rehabilitation, reducing the need for wood burning to purify water, thus decreasing carbon emissions.
1436 Tonnes have been offset in 2023 to support the Akocak Hydroelectric Power Plant in Turkiye.
Generating renewable energy through a run-of-river hydroelectric facility, displacing fossil fuel-based electricity generation and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
We will be continuing to support worldwide offsetting projects in 2024.
