With the support of key partners like NUNCATS, Aerobility, The Air League, and others, we were excited to unveil major initiatives and celebrate incredible individuals shaping the future of aviation.

Introducing the Pilot Ambassador Program

Announcing the AOPA Companion Course
We were also excited to announce the launch of the AOPA Companion Course, a new initiative designed to support non-pilot passengers who frequently fly with private pilots.
What is the AOPA Companion Course?
This program is tailored for friends, family members, and colleagues who fly in light aircraft but aren’t pilots themselves. It provides essential knowledge and hands-on experience, including:

Jacob Newson’s Flight in the Pipistrel Velis Electro
A highlight of the event was welcoming Jacob Newson, Pride of Britain Award Winner in 2024, to experience the future of sustainable aviation firsthand.
Jacob’s story is nothing short of inspirational. Known for his incredible fundraising efforts supporting Royal Airforce Benevolent Fund, he has become a well-known advocate for aviation and community engagement.
As part of this event, we were thrilled to offer Jacob a flight in our fully electric aircraft—a symbol of innovation and sustainability. His enthusiasm and passion for aviation made this experience incredibly special, Saxon Air were honoured to create this unique memory.
The Air League Scholarship: Giving 6 Students the Chance to Fly Electric
Saxon Air is proud to continue its collaboration with The Air League, an organisation dedicated to making aviation more accessible to young people. This year, we are offering six students the chance to learn to fly in an electric aircraft through the Air League Scholarship program.
