Norwich to Hethel Helicopter Charter FAQs

The guide price for this route starts from £900 total, or £180 per person when five passengers travel. The final quotation depends on aircraft availability, passenger numbers and weights, positioning, landing permissions, airport charges and whether the flight forms part of a return or wider itinerary.
Although the airborne time is short, each commercial flight still requires full operational planning. Passenger and luggage details, landing access, weather and the timing of any connecting aircraft are considered before the itinerary is confirmed.

The indicative flight time is around seven minutes, subject to routing, weather and operational requirements.

It can support a time-sensitive connecting itinerary, particularly where clients are arriving at Norwich Airport and travelling directly to a meeting or site visit at Hethel.

Potentially, subject to permission, site suitability and the operating conditions on the day. The landing arrangement must be confirmed in advance.

The quoted Airbus H125 service can carry up to five passengers, subject to passenger weights and luggage.

Yes. Saxon Air can coordinate the helicopter sector with an arriving or departing jet charter as part of a wider itinerary.

Head of Rotary, Ground Operations, Sales and Client Relations

In my role as the Head of Rotary Operations and Sales, I get to work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the smooth operation of private helicopter flights—a sector that demands precision, safety, and a high level of service. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities, whether it’s working with clients to create seamless, personalized experiences or coordinating complex logistics to meet specific flight needs. The diversity of tasks keeps things fresh and exciting which includes controlling the operations and sales of a fleet of 10 state of the art helicopters from manufacturers Airbus and Leonardo we operate largely within the UK but also within Northwestern Europe. We are specialists in VIP charter, special events and operations at night and I’m proud to be a part of the team that has won the Air Charter Association Helicopter Charter Company of the Year in 2022 and 2023. We also lead the way with our landing site officers who provide night lighting at remote locations for off airport landings and are spearheading the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel being the first UK onshore operator to use SAF indefinitely and at all the special events. rnrnTogether, we work in sync to deliver the best possible service, and there’s a real sense of camaraderie in knowing that we’re all working towards the same goal—ensuring every flight operates smoothly, safely, and with the utmost professionalism. rnrnAt SaxonAir, no two days are the same, and that dynamic, high-energy environment is a perfect fit for me.
